Leaving their problems in the past, Christian Grey and Anastasia tie the knot and enjoy their luxurious life. Just as they become accustomed to married life, old faces and new problems arise testing the Grey's happy ending.

Having not seen the first two (anyone who knows me, knows that I'm not a fan.) I put my issues aside and went to see this and took it at face value. Nothing groundbreaking but not the worst thing I've ever seen.

A few positives to start with, it looked good; it was all very slick and you can see the budget hasn't gone to waste, the two stars are both easy on the eye and like previous Fifty Shades films the soundtrack attached is good.

There were a few issues I had. The plot seemed a bit silly, drama was being made between the couple over such little problems. It was also extremely predictable to see what was going to happen throughout and at the end. Most of the time I felt like I was watching a big budget straight to TV film/ one off TV drama.

My other problem was the acting. I thought that Christian Grey (Dornan) was cold and completely unlikable, but as I'm told this is how the book character is, this can be excused. Anastasia (Johnson) was trying hard to inject a bit of life into film but at times it was a little too much and occasionally a bit cringe.

Not the worst thing I've watched, but definitely not worthy of the hype that the franchise has received.

While the third instillation of this franchise comes to a close it definitely struggles to the finish line. I feel like by the third movie, the taboo has worn off and doesn't seem so crazy. Funny enough I have seen the first two movies but I had kind of forgotten what had happened up until now but to be honest I don't think it really mattered. The storyline was very basic and very predictable. But I guess thats what you'd expect from this easy-watching movie.

The sex scenes were well choreographed and executed but they weren't shocking or anything. I guess it all slows down a bit when you get married haha! There's not much that I can add that Leanne has already mentioned. Everything about this film is just fine, the acting is fine, the plot is fine, Dakota Johnson is fine. It's all just what you'd expect from a Fifty Shades film. I do like that overall look of the film, its very pleasing on the eye and drops you into a fantasy world of glamour, money and love. I can see why women love Christian Grey and these movies.

I'm also glad that they didn't try to drag out the books into more movies (not that I've read the books) but just would have been painful to watch them try to drag it out even more. Also special mention to Rita Ora who is quite possibly the worst actress I've ever seen on the big screen. Shocking.
